Sometimes if you want to have a good time with your kids but don’t want to spend too much money and going to crowded places, cooking with kids is a good way.

Today we’ll teach you a very simple recipe to try with your kids or even for a beginner to learn.





225g butter

225g golden caster sugar

225g self-raising flour

1 pinch baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 eggs



1. Cream the butter and sugar together with an electric whisk for few minutes.

2. Crack 4 eggs in one at a time, whisk until all mixture is all well combined. Sift in self-raising flour and a pinch of baking powder.

Fold in the flour and baking powder until nicely combined.

3. Lastly, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract into the mixture.

4. Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases.

Bake them at 180℃ for 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown.

Check if the cakes are ready with a screwer.

Cool in the pans for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire
