Taiwan’s first home-built satellite-FORMOSAT-5 was launched by SpaceX in California on 8/24/2017. This satellite is 100% made in Taiwan and is used for environmental observation and advancing disaster forecasts. With the launch of this satellite, we set a new milestone for the independence of Taiwan’s scientific payload, which proved that we are able to carry on our own outer space projects.

Having fear of heights is what keeps people from gaining their very first climbing experience. Try out bouldering instead.
